I understand gpa is a easy thing to make cuts for but don't totally agree with it. At my hs lots of really involved girls, great athletes, leaders who would make great sorority sisters have below a 3.5. Standards in west coast states are much more difficult than southern schools, so a 3.5 in California is different than a 3.5 in Alabama. I know at my school more emphasis was put on being a well rounded student/person over being a 4.0 student. Sad to think really great leaders would be cut because they have a 3.4! I know girls who have volunteered hours, made huge impacts in their communities and excelled in athletics with below 3.5 gpa!
