Usually, the houses that have good GPAs are the ones with good sisterhoods. In general it's because girls with good GPAs are more likely to be more similar to each other, come from similar backgrounds, have similar values, and are generally more focused on school rather than parties and social events. Sororities that recruit mainly on looks and/or social connections have worse sisterhoods because they have girls who are more drama-loving. Those houses are more split between the top girls and the filler girls, and tensions show.
