This is the stupidest move you can possibly make. If you don't list one house because you KNOW you could never be comfortable there, it says way more about you than about that house. Every house has all kinds of girls and I guarantee you can find ones that will be your lifetime friends. You will never have such close friends from student housing. The truth is that all our houses are amazing. You read on here about houses that are bottom tier, old row, top tier, new row, etc. None of that matters. You will have a great time regardless of which house, tier, or row. In other words, please don't let the stuff you read on here influence you to drop any house because you think it would be more embarrassing to be in that house than to be independent. It isn't true at all. Just go for it. Be yourself and decide for yourself. If you join an aspirational house you won't be happy because you won't fit in.
