The truth is, some sororities at Cornell have become very "high school." If you are a confident, mature woman looking to find good friends and a fun group of people to share your college years and beyond with, then please disregard the "tiers." Trust me, if you just care about mixing with top frats (tbh you prob don't want much to do with most of those guys) or being seen as "popular," then you could have stayed in high school. Those who peaked in HS are the types you're likely to find in top houses (generally speaking--of course there are exceptions). Keep your eyes and ears open during rush...but be open to all houses. Joining a house for superficial reasons usually leads to a miserable year living with ppl who you come to resent.
