The times they are a changing. LU is moving forward and evolving. Greeks need to change with the U or go extinct. The number of Greek organizations is declining steadily and the number of Greeks is also in decline. The facts are that for students who want great Greek life, there are now better options than Lehigh, and that trend is going to continue. People say that the Greeks get more leeway because they donate a lot of money to the school, but they don't. The reality is that LU has lower donations than most similar schools. Greeks misbehavior is bad for LU and the administration and Trustees are just not putting up with it like they used to. If you are coming to LU for frat parties, you are making a mistake. There are many good reasons to come to LU, but frat parties are no longer one. Many partiers will come to LU anyway and they will be whining when their frat is shut down instead of taking personal responsibility. Everyone seems to think they are a victim these days when they are really just rich, whiny, entitled brats. They will learn eventually. \n\n\n\n\n
