GPA doesn't matter, not for freshmen, because admissions has already handled that. At other schools with lower admission standards it's a first round cut. But upperclassmen rushing with a freshman GPA that does not meet the chapter's standard will have a problem. Sororities do not care about wealth as long as members can pay their dues and participate fully. No one should ever rush and get a bid and then drop out because they can't afford it. Girls who are considered to have 'wealth' run in the same circles and they already know each other from high school and other things, that's all, it's not about wealth. Outsiders looking in at sorority life like to say that wealth matters, but that's just what they think they see, it's really about connections. Connections, meaning who you know and who knows you, give a pnm an edge. Social media gives a chapter a personal glimpse of pnm's, especially if no member already knows them. Pnm's can fall through the cracks if a chapter can't get an initial read on them before rush starts. Sororities here aren't really interested in a pnm's follows or influencing, and inappropriate sm will be a problem. It doesn't matter as much for well connected pnm's because they are already known. Looks are important, that's life. A member is a reflection on the chapter. But looks are a package combined with how a girl carries herself and her style choices and her confidence. Conversations and relating to the members in person is key. You didn't mention vibe, which is also key. Every chapter has a different vibe and want pnm's that vibe with them. Members will recognize it and so will pnm's.
