as someone who is in a lower-middle sorority and also has really struggled to make friends (had some stuff happen at the beginning of the year that kept me from getting to know people), please know that that is THE most important part. pls value that and cherish those sweet friendships! i also understand where you’re coming from though. i went to a private school dominated by super rich, super exclusive girls who all ended up in top sororities, and i know exactly how that feels!! but at the end of the day, the only people who are going to judge you are people who have no life other than greek life and want to put themselves on a pedestal. also!! i can almost guarantee that when you tell someone what sorority you’re in, they’ll go “oh wow, she’s so cute, i bet the rest of her sorority is, too”! no sane person is going to think less of you, because the girl standing right in front of them is going to hold way more power in their heads than their preconceived notions of different sororities. that’s my advice to you! i really hope things go well for you!!
