You can look up any court case on the Justice Services Online portal, just search the defendent's name (make sure you select Criminal Court - adults) and it will show you any scheduled court dates they have. Just looked these two up and yes, their first appearance is on Sept 25. You can also see there that there is a publication ban. To find out the time and room, you'll need to wait until Sept 24 when the daily docket is posted for the next day (at ontariocourtdates.ca). Due to the publication ban, only their initials will be listed, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out which ones are them. Also, just fyi, a first appearance might not be very interesting, they might just read off the charges and deal with some administrative things like whether they have legal representation. Well, I guess that actually could be interesting since it will be difficult to get info otherwise due to the publication ban. Sorry this got really long lol, just putting it all here because it had taken me a long time to figure this stuff out a few years ago for my own sa case, so hopefully this could save ppl some time and frustration.
