^ This is so true. I have friends in lots of different chapters. We used to go to each other's pairs when before we were 21. We always had more fun at the "lower" frats than the top ones. Sigma Chi & Beta were boring. We had a much better time at middle frats like Sigma Pi, Beta Sig and Phi Delts. We go to the bars together now and sometimes we make guys try to guess what chapters we are in. There are 4 of us: a so-called top group, two middle groups, and one supposedly in the bottom. Now here's the kicker: Top tier girl always gets guessed as one of the middle the majority of the time, the bottom chapter occasionally. NEVER gets guessed as her chapter. Bottom girl gets guessed as the top or one of the middles EVERY SINGLE TIME. Middle girls are hit and miss.
