I think it’s ultimately up to you to decide if it’s worth it or not. My opinion is yes, especially if you’ve connected with some girls. My suggestion is to think of the reason why you decided to rush. Was it to make new friendships? To meet new people? Get involved in a social organization? Volunteer and participate in philanthropies? Regardless of “tier” all sororities operate in a similar way. A so-called bottom tier house is going to have the same amount, if not more pairs. They will have philanthropies and leadership opportunities. And of course, they will offer you the same chances to bond with your pledge class and make new friendships. The only difference is the letters that you will wear. I wouldn’t worry about being treated like a loser or geed (half of the people on this site are geeds). In the end, no one cares which organization you are a part of. IU Greek life is not as villainous as this site makes it. If status is important to you though, maybe none of the above matters lol. When you graduate and enter the adult world, no one is going to care. You’ll be left with amazing sisters and friends.
