Advice from an upperclassman. I went through rush several times and didn't get bids until the end of my sophomore year. In the end I finally got a bid from an upper middle house and an unhoused. I ended up going for the unhoused, only because I took the advice from an older brother. I went for the house I made the most connection with. I was surprised and totally exceeded my expectations about the guys in the "unhoused" that typically gets a bad rap. Don't overlook the unhoused or listen to the crap about the lower or middle houses. At the end of the day, they all have quality brotherhoods. Don't get caught up about the rankings. I'm so extremely happy with the friendships I've made w my brothers in my unhoused frat. We still make tons of connections w sororities and have sick parties and lots of fun.
