usually it is harder, because the sorority is incentivized to bid freshmen (more years in school, more $ for the national org) You'll find out during your house's membership selection, but basically there is an advantage to being a freshman in the membership selection policies that my house follows (those policies come from nationals) what @so,e is saying is that some sophomores graduate in 5 years...but this is not the norm. and also not something I'd personally advertise (unless you're transferring in and not all your credits transferred or you're doing a major change from like liberal arts to engineering or something where you actually need to spend 5 years)...planning to spend 5 years in college just makes you look kinda lazy
