Since i literally have no idea if this is true or not - please give examples. i would think most would want to make sure their chapter will survive before building a house (even big nationals)- renting possibly, but that's not really an option here - except for the occasional frat charter suspension. Also, I believe sorority houses are financed and run through alumnae housing corps rather than nationals - please correct me if i'm wrong here.
