Posted Friday, July 28, 2023 @ 12:02 PM As we prepare for the 2023-2024 academic year, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is happy to announce updates and important information to keep in mind. Interim Director Dr. Danielle Aming sent out the fall 2023 calendar to Chapter Presidents and Chapter Advisors emails on July 24th, but everyone can find the file posted here on our website under “Member Resources.” Speaking of the website, we are currently working on updating, modifying, and generally making the site more accessible. This will be an ongoing process, so make sure to check back often to see what’s new, what’s moved, and what’s been updated. So far, the “Chapter Statuses” page was updated, and the Spring 2023 grade report was added. OFSL is planning on turning the website into a robust, centralized hub of information for not only our current Greek students, but for prospective members, families, and the greater UCF community. Your feedback is always appreciated, and you can communicate with the Administrative Assistant by emailing Jax Rogero (jillian.rogero@ucf.edu) with input and suggestions. Finally, the Ginsburg Center for Inclusion and Community Engagement is holding the 11th Annual UCF student Success Conference. The conference takes place on September 8th through the 10th at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel and Resort. “The 2023 Student Success Conference is a unique opportunity designed for entering students to: learn how to unleash their potential, discover campus resources and services, and develop strategies for a successful UCF college journey. Additionally, students will have opportunities to expand connections with peers, and interaction with staff, faculty, and local community leaders.” Please see the flyer for the QR code to register. Questions about the event should be directed to Wayne Jackson (wayne.jackson@ucf.edu).
