Subject:
Real Rankings Going Into Rush

Poster Message:
Every house is amazing in their own way - if they weren’t they wouldn’t be here, but given girls join year over year and find their homes in the chapters on campus, it means each house is the home for someone here and I super encourage everyone to stay the entire way through pref just to get the full experience. That being said, there are historically “ranks” at UNC which are within those outlined below: “Top”: DDD, Chi O, KD Everyone who is in one of these chose it as their top choice on pref night and probably went to the pre parties and got on a list beforehand (not to say you can’t get in there if you don’t know someone, DDD especially is 50% out of state so plenty of chance to meet new people). Chi O gives off cooler vibes with very chic clothing and style and a bit less southern than say KD, the girls are very nice and seem very down to earth. KD feels very traditional sorority with the best hair and game day outfits around, the girls are super kind in a southern manner and feel very welcoming. DDD feels the most global of any of them with a lot of people from all over and a too cool for school level attitude, they are in a sorority to have fun, not stick to the rules. “Lower top”: ADPi, APhi They have done well historically but are not one of the Franklin Street 3, and have a little less pull than the others in terms of connections and campus community. APhi is so new but it has done great in its time here getting a really awesome group of girls and a great house, as they continue to grow and graduate more classes, I think they will just keep doing better and better. ADPi has been around on campus for a long time and is very established in NC culture, its recent pledge classes have been cool, but mainly full of girls who went to the shortbread pre games and knew a sister. “Middle”: AXO, Phi Mu Phi Mu gets a mixed group of girls across hobbies and interests but always do well, leaning more southern recently, are also more welcoming to sophomores from what I have seen. AXO is similar in campus sentiment and has really sweet classes who seem like the cool nice girl you want to be friends with. Both are great and well regarded, and usually also a first choice by the time pref rolls around but less exclusive and less toeing the line of dirty rush; they invite back more people day after day than the Franklin 3. Less Classifiable: Zeta and Pi Phi I think are leagues of their own a bit and get a different vibe of girl than any of the above. Zeta always has super cool pledge classes and feels more northern than most other sororities that might pull from the same monogram-level high schools, feels like where you would find the next model or influencer, and they know how to have fun at a party. Pi Phi also feels a bit more northern with a lot more sophomores and out of state girls who join, they are very established as well but still building out their reputation after starting to take in more girls post the two other sororities of like manner shutting down in the last few years.
