46.Kappa Delta at the University of Virginia Kappa Delta’s national philanthropies are Girl Scouts and Prevent Child abuse America. However, the Beta Alpha Chapter at the University of Virginia started a Confidence Campaign in Spring 2014. They hosted two on campus events, an open mic night and an information session on healthy relationships, leading up to their main event, The Eliminate Fat Talk Walk. The walk challenged participants to go confidently as they discussed and reflected on the difficulties of maintaining a positive self-image.
