KD must first retain it's members before it can grow in size. My guess is that KD will lose more girls over the summer than Chi O and therefore offset the numbers. If KD retained members then it would have been larger than Chi O the first year of upperclassman quota since they had both pledged the same number of girls for the three years before ... did you not consider that?

I think the post was referring to "Clarification" not the one right below it. You are right. PNM's do need to think before they jump to conclusions. Recruitment is stressful on both sides and the selection process is more complex than everyone getting exactly who they want. Most end up happy where they are placed and some who get exactly what they want end up not so happy when the excitement is over. PNM's need to be open minded.

I stumbled upon this site and I wanted to encourage everyone not to say anything with even a negative connotation on this site. ESPECIALLY since rush is just around the corner. :)
The Word says it best! Let us not use our desires to be the best chapters we can be, to build a bridge that leads to sin and slander. Let our desires be full of pure motives, and our efforts towards getting the RIGHT girls for us be full of INTEGRITY. As a leader in KD, I know that we are encouarging/ and praying for our sisters and the girls coming through as we prepare our hearts and minds for Fall Recruitment! We are blessed to be apart of such a great greek system that has the same morals!

I hope you aren't trying to use religion during rush or to sway PNMs, especially when KD is one of the wildest groups on campus.

if that was just going to be a heartfelt plea for niceness to all greeks, you wouldn't have mentioned your sorority. I too am all for positive comments on here, which is why I like to comment with good stuff on every board every now and then. But it defeats the purpose if you name you're own group to make yourself look better.

I have lost all respect for the MSU Greek system. Beginning to wonder why I wanted to be part of such a vicious community.

Yikers. They are the worst group at USM and Ole Miss doesn't even have that chapter anymore. Doesn't bode well for the success of that group at another in-state university... Why not Kappa Kappa Gamma? They're good at Ole Miss and strong nationally!!!

The only sorority to actively recruit through Greekrank.com. Guess you can't help it since it's so FUN and at KAPPA DELTA you love FUN!! But all houses at MSU are GREAT!! Like the same things over and over....yet the whole time these posts are made Chi O is still slammed for "quota" (yeah, right) and DG is told "Not everyone likes you." I mean, be smart girls. We can all see what KD is doing. Everyone put XO/DG then KD, guess someone is sick of not being top 2 but wanted to try to cover for themselves by spewing "greek love"...but only on the KD page.
