house commitment

Which houses have a commitment for members to live in either their sorority house or in Hathorn Hall?

I don't think any sorority requires Hathorn. The house is based entirely on filling it up. If it fills up with volunteers, you don't have to live there. Most houses fill up. I am in a very large sorority and will be a senior and have never lived in the house because it fills up with volunteers every year.
