Chi O , KD and DG ( top tier ) always get a pass. Such a double standard. Doubtful anything will happen discipline wise. There are the same types of girls in every sorority. The top tier girls are no better or different than the rest of us ( Phi Mu, DDD, Pi Phi, ADPi and ZTA ) just that most MS girls want to be in these three and it is highschool cliques all over again. Just my opinion.....I have many friends in Chi O - a lot of nice girls. Only reason why everyone on here wants them to get in trouble is because top tier gets away with everything ( recruitment infractions etc ) and no one ever holds them accountable. If anyone else does anything, it gets brought up time and time and time again ...this too will pass and it will not hurt them one bit.

A few years back some KDs were caught putting alcohol in the crystal light bins in the kitchen. They were all kicked out and KD as a whole didn't have social events for the rest of the semester. Wrong is wrong whether a group is top or bottom. I wouldn't want to see ANY sorority kicked off campus. It looks bad on all of us and it could EASILY happen to any group next. Those involved should be kicked out, and the whole sorority should lose functions, but talking about getting rid of any chapter is over the top.

Chi-O's should be very careful about coming on here and downplaying this incident. Acting like it is no big deal and this does not affect them in any way, might just get them in more trouble. MSU Panhellenic and Chi Omega Nationals are not unaware of this site. Chi-O's should remain quiet, remorseful, and be above these discussion threads that try to drag them down further. And next time another sorority has a girl or girls do something stupid or embarrassing, think twice before posting about it.
If Chi-O's were known for how they spread pan love and how inclusive they were, I doubt they would have so many girls on here trying to bring them down. Attitudes tend to filter down the tiers of sororities. If the ones on top are supportive of all chapters on campus instead of looking down their nose at everyone else, then the girls in chapters considered lower would be less bitter and hateful. It would be a much better Greek System.
Chi-O chapters have been kicked off campuses for less. My aunt was a Penn State Chi-O and they were kicked off for being at a themed mixer holding a sign stereotyping illegal immigrants on social media. They weren't committing a felony just being stupid.

For anyone who is wondering about this. One person made a bad choice that affected our entire chapter negatively. I think it was a lesson for chio and every other organization and person on campus to see how one persons actions literally effect everyone. CHI O IS NOT ON ANY KIND OF SOCIAL PROBATION AND IS NOT IN TROUBLE WITH ANYONE. it was an unfortunate event and honestly it's not the first time that it's happened to a sorority on campus so i personally think people are blowing it out of the water significantly
