AXO, XO, APhi and AGD play that game pretty hard and are absolutely out there working insta for those they have identified as targets for them. all those are pretty much connections driven except APhi, who go by looks mostly.

Some do for the most part.

Just be you. Most everyone finds a home. Don't stress on who's getting more likes on insta. That is so lame to be chasing the "likes".

Unless you have low grades, bad rep or are rude, you will find a home. And they are all great sororities.

I am in a old row house and have to say we are probably already focused on more girls than we could fill two lists with.

I am in an "Old Row" sorority and yes, we do have some women that we have our eye on before rush even starts. There are thousands of girls who go through recruitment and yes, every sorority screens the PNM's before they come through. There is no written list per se, but we do know some women beforehand and heavily try to recruit these women.

All houses have some sort of way of grading the PNMs. If a house needs more excellent students this year, they'll grade girls with 4.0s and higher toward the top. If they need singers, they'll grade those girls higher.

You already know that Panhellenic is collecting names for spring parties, and recommendations are beginning to trickle into the houses. So of course when girls with "top desired qualities" appear, the house is going to flag them.

BUT there are plenty of girls out there who haven't even thought about sorority rush. They won't be at spring parties. Houses won't know about them until they actually register for rush. Yet they'll be on the first list a house will submit after pref. The house won't get them all, but they'll get some off List A, some off List B, some off List C...etc.

Sure, every house already knows of some PNMs that they'll want to bid. But there is still plenty of time for both PNMs and houses to check each other out and adjust their lists according what they find out over rush.

In other words, don't worry about any of that right now.
