DG is overrated-- this past pledge class def lacking and lots of crazies --they should maybe go below Gamma Phi but not below Theta

DG is on the same level as DZ and AOPi in my opinion. PNMs should go where they like it best whether it is Phi Mu (listed here at the top) or Theta (listed here at the bottom), or any of the others. All sororities have great houses and members, but give different vibes. Ranking is so subjective. Number 1 to one person is bottom for another. Best hope is PNMs get a bid from the house they felt most comfortable with and connected to. Go where it clicks.

Have you sen the grade report at all? switch gamma phi and theta, dg and aoii and dz and agd then you have something.

Like one grade report is going to make any difference!! This ranking is very accurate- give or take minor switches

grades are very important because we are all students first and foremost, but keep in mind that some houses are not as particular on grades when they pull together a pledge class. other houses are pretty unwaivering on grades unless you have special connections and they really want you in their sorority and are willing to take the "grade risk" on you. Houses like AXO and XO are far less willing to take "grade risks" and houses lower down on the list like PM, Zeta, Aphi are more willing to sacrifice GPA for other attributes. As we can see, grade risks create lower overall house and new member GPAs. My bet is each house knows how this is going to turn out each year based on how they select in recruitment and it is a choice they made knowingly.

^i think this is very spot on for most houses but I think given the chance gamma phi would probably recruit girls with higher grades

On gphi grades dropping but rank moving up-- I think we all can agree they have a much improved pic this year. They have better looking and better personality girls this time than some older classes. So I think they decided to go in a tweaked direction and it paid off. There are plenty of smart girls in there but also some girls that fell off
