Theta, Chi O, KKG, Pi Phi

New girls are always wondering about a national ranking. Unfortunately that's something that doesn't exist. The person above picked some top houses at UT but some of those are bottom at UA. If you ask a girl from any university, she's going to give you a list of ones that are good where she goes to school. Don't get your feelings hurt if your house isn't in someone else's list. It's not worth it and it's not accurate.

DG Is one of the best sororities nationally, although there rep varies from parts of the country. Really good in Florida and California

No ones good everywhere. Kappa is pretty solid. But they have some stinkers too.

ALL of the Panhellenic sororities at Bama have strong nationals. Some offer more scholarships, some have more well known philanthropies. Go to the national websites. You can read up there.

The 3 largest sororities by number of members are: Chi Omega, Theta, and Tri-Delta. The 3 largest by number of chapters: AOPi, AGD, Gamma Phi.

Honestly every Pan sorority has good chapters & bad chapters. They all have lots of members nationally. Pan sororities that are smaller nationally or that don't have many chapters are not the ones at Bama. (imo)

I've been apart of several colonization's for my schools sorority and have pretty decent knowledge of sorority's reputations nationwide (and in Canada.) The sororities who are most consistently consider top tier are ZTA, APhi, DG and Pi Phi. The sororities who are always on either end of the spectrum are Tridelt, Phi Mu and Theta. Coincidentally the rankings tend to be opposite in the south. The reasoning for this is that nationals for sororities like tridelt and phi mu put a TON of resources into their strongest chapters and somewhat neglect chapters elsewhere. Then there are of courses houses that are almost always bottom such as DPhi, Trisig, Phisig...
