do fraternity rush chairs ever contact pnms first?

by: Rush 2016

I'm planning on rushing fraternities next fall and I'm wondering if a fraternity rush chair will ever contact someone first based on their ifc profile? I plan on contacting them myself however I am curious as to whether a fraternity will ever contact someone first?

None of the rush chairs will get in touch with you unless you've been referred by a friend of his who's a current student. I'd go ahead and contact them directly.

Disregard the douche-bag comment above. Good luck!

The guy wasn't being a douche bag. Smaller fraternities like DTD, Sigma Pi, and AKL messaged me on FB out of the blue inviting me to rush events because I was registered with IFC recruitment.

@No,
If you got invites , they've clearly stepped up their games this year and may have new rush chairs. It's pretty uncommon, so go and enjoy a few parties.

No, they won't. Not even if you're a legacy.
You have to contact them.
The only exception might be if you are a close personal friend of a current member. But I wouldn't wait. Contact them.
