Only a ZTA can truly answer this question and know that it's the honest truth. However, I'm going to try. They seem to be very philanthropic. They have one of the most well-known philanthropies, Breast Cancer Awareness. In my opinion, they are always well groomed. If I see a girl out and her makeup and outfit are "on point" I almost always assume ZTA or Phi Mu.

ZTA seems to have a reputation for being "loose." I don't see it that way. They always seem to be very happy and always having fun!

Don't sweat it and don't set your heart on a specific house before Recruitment! All of Alabama's sororities are great! You will have fun no matter where you end up. I am a true believer that you just have to trust the process and you will end up where you're supposed to be!

The common thing about most Zetas is that they are typically very spirited and fun. They have a very diverse membership with girls from all over, with the main oos concentration from California and Texas (it seems). guys think they are good looking and they get invited to lots of stuff. They have more northeast girls than many other houses. They seem to focus less on grades in recruitment than some other houses. As a post above says, they usually are very well put together.

The other houses here that are a lot like zeta, to me, are pi phi and kappa.

If you are a pretty hyper competitive type in terms of gunning for SGA positions and stuff like that, for Zeta that is not necessarily a plus. Their overall personality type is a little more irreverant and independent than that. It is part of their overall vibe in my view. I like SGA/debate team type of stuff and I am a "joiner" of sorts, and so did not feel like I fit with their culture. I ended up in a different house that is very involved with SGA at Bama. But the Zetas I know are really great and fun and cute and smart. They are just not "into" the same sort of extracurriculars that I am into.

Zetas are cute and party girls. Their house supposedly isn't going to be ready for next year. A problem since they don't have a swing house. They are well known nationally. The Zetas I have met are sweet girls, they have awful grades, they took a lot of attractive grade risks, usually Zeta and APhi have the worst grades of any of sororities.

ZTA is considered to be very good. They have not had a house this year, but they stay they will have the swing house (which is where Phi Mu is right now) to start next fall and then their new house will be finished over the winter break. For a sorority that does not even have a proper place to gather and have meals and chapter, they seem to have a pretty high profile around campus and seem to be lots of fun. I know a few of them, and went to high school with one, and they are very chill. If I am being critical, I would say they often think they are a little too cool for many of the greek life events and don't go wild trying to win homecoming type competitions (houses like PM, AXO, XO, AGD really go all out for those) and they apparently don't make strong grades a requirement, like somebody above said.

I would consider all of these posts above pretty accurate. Personally when I think of zeta, I would say they're known for their looks and for being super fun and chill. They really don't have good grades though
