fall rush 2016

Okay so I'm an out of state gal (PA) that's really excited to rush at UA but I have no family/friends that can write me recs. How likely am I to receive a bid without having a rec for any house??

How do you know you don't have any friends who are Greek? Have you asked them? Has your mom or dad asked their friends? did you ask your teachers?
Sure you're not just being lazy? This is your first hurdle to becoming a sorority woman and you don't want to make the effort?
You might get a bid without getting any recs. Some sororities won't give you a second look and will release you after the first round of parties.
Why risk it? Why not start asking around? Once you find one sorority woman, ask if she knows others. NETWORK.
