First of all, depending on where is go to school makes a huge difference. Here there is in NO WAY a guarantee to transfer to a house. You could very well end up here and houseless.

Second, are those they only houses at your school or are you just shallow and assume from what you read on here that they are the best at Alabama?

Third, rushing is to be taken seriously to find the best match FOR YOU. Even if you joined one of those 3 and that chapter was perfect for you, it could be a personal nightmare for you here. Again if the UA chapter chose to accept you.

I agree with the response above. However if you must know

DG- newest sorority, mainly out of state girls, decent grades, good philanthropy event
KKG- party girls, decent grades, it's an old row sorority ( which typically means more in state girls) but it seems like they have a good amount of out of state
Tri Delt- Very southern. Unfortuently all of the girls I met that are Tri Delts are stupid as can be or rich brats. Now that's not all the girls, but it's obviously a good amount of them.

I agree with the other 2 responses. Just going to add one thing. It really depends on the school you are transferring from. If it's an out of state school with the words north, south, east or west you will have a much harder time.
Why don't you just transfer then rush. My house took 3 sophomores and 2 juniors. It is hard when you aren't a freshman but it's possible.
