is there anything I could be doing now on social media or something to get attention from sorority girls to make sure they are familiar with me? and is it too early to be sending in letters of rec?

be concious that everything you post will be looked at by actives with rush in mind. Take pictures that are tasteful, think about what you're wearing. If you wear a ton of lilly pulitzer and look like a new england prep princess you won't be going old row.

Lilly is cute. Wear it if you want. I do.They mean don't wear it in every picture you post just because you think it screams southern sorority girl.So, it is perfectly acceptable and lots of us wear it. And...someone on this thread is surely getting a stocking full of coal because they sound like a straight up B.
