I mean, everything in the ritual makes total sense.

Basileia means "queen" in Greek anyways, so having a crown as their symbol makes sense too.

Also one of their members revealed to Buzzfeed what their member selection process during rush is like too. Want me to tell you? They don't keep their secrets very well, do they...

It's pretty simple, really. Red and green paddle things (basically Yes/No). Every PNM is put on a slideshow and they go one-by-one. Actives votes yes/no/abstain, and that PNM is either rejected or moved on. If there are a lot of no votes, then everybody stops and does pros and cons of that girl. And then vote again and move on. No points (which is how XO does their MS I believe).
