Why are some of you so mean? Yeah sure, selfies taken in front of the bathroom mirror are dumb, but there are a whole bunch of other selfies that are pretty neat. Like for example if you're hiking with your friends and there's no one else to ask to take a picture for you, or if you've visited a famous landmark on vacation. Because really, what't the difference between a selfie and a regular picture other than in one you show your arms?

Besides, the sole purpose of instagram is to show off. If you don't like that kind of behavior, then don't open instagram in the first place! It's sad that so many sororities these days doubt their members' taste and judgement.

There's varying degrees of selfies and what's ok. If your friends are in it it's not a selfie. If you're just taking a picture with Kylie Jenner makeup and duck lips, that's when we're gonna have a problem, it's just not a good look

Actually most of these responses above must be from A Phis. I asked around and no other sorority has this rule. Not one of the girls I talked to (from lots of different houses) had ever heard of this.
