best frat(s) for northerner?

I recently heard that some fraternities at alabama only accept in-state kids or just southerners in general. I was curious -- what top rank or somewhat decent frats take in northerners or OOS kids in general? Being born and raised in chicago this is a small concern of mine. Thanks
