I do disagree in the fact that although they are not upper or solid middle tier, they have earned their place in lower/slight middle of the middle tier in rankings. I feel that they are above GPhi, KAT, DZ, and if anything on the same level as AOPi and soon hanging around Alpha Phi, they are better than Alpha Phi in regards to philanthropy, involvement outside of greek activities, and they do have girls on Panhellenic Executive and on SGA Executive. Do not get me wrong though, Alpha Phi is stronger in other aspects compared to DG and they are a good house. Since they are both stronger at different aspects (just like every other house) it makes it diverse. the So I agree in the respect they are around in between lower middle and middle pack of middle tear, it will take this year to solidify where.The reason people cannot label with a look or demeanor is because even though they aren't exactly "new" since they have bee back for almost five years and are allowed to use their old founding date in the 1930s on this campus, they did not leave until 1978 so they do have a strong alum base; even if they are older. Before the left, they were considered good and old row. So it is hard to place them because they do not have a look just yet, but the chill factor I would compare to Alpha Gam girls who party, but hide it or balance it. On the other hand some of my friends say they have the group of hardcore partiers, so I would compare that aspect to PiPhi, but not the stereotype of KD/KKG

They have accomplished a lot they should be proud, when there re-colinization is just shy of five years and every year the pledge class gets better and more diverse in regards to strengthen the house itself, or well chapter at UA.

People tend to know others who are like them and who are engaged in similar pursuits. So if you were a member of SGA or Panhel Exec you would know the DGs involved in those organizations. If you were a member of Freshman Forum of First Year Council you would know those DGs. If you were a pageant type you would know the DG who won Miss Sorority Row. If you were tops in academics you would know the DGs with 4.0s in your department. So the fact that you don't seem to personally know any outstanding DGs doesn't speak to the fact that the don't exist -- they do in those activities and others --- but rather speaks to the fact that you don't personally run in their circles and thus are aware of the girls who are more like you.

What a convoluted series of descriptions. What sorority was it? Can't recall. x-0

DG is basically like AGD, but with slightly lower grades and less of an Alabama high school clique thing going on.

But DG ends up being about the same as AGD, though. While AGD has better grades; DG has a better sisterhood.

Because AGD sells out their own to the machine.
