by: New GirlMessage to pnms: PLEASEget your grades up as much as you can this year. The higher your gpa is, the more likely it will be that a sorority will keep you. I blew off my senior year and come bid day I regretted it. (I did get into a house, just not one I ever imagined being in). I Thought that people were just exaggerating but your grades really do matter so so much. If you're a PNM and your gpa isn't great please get off this site and try to pull it up!

You are lucky you got a house. Each year the grade criteria gets higher and it will continue to do so as long as more PMNs go through recruitment.
The lower and mid tiered houses had lots of women to choose from this year. No one had to take someone with lower grades. You must have something they were looking for other than grades. Lucky girl.

The only reason Old Row takes those risks is because the girl's a legacy or a "friend of a friend" or some sort of old money southern.
