is it required to live in the house and how early can one move into the house (freshmen, sophmore junior)

Usually in your sophomore year and our nationals requires at least one year in the house.

Our sorority doesn't require that you live in the house. There's usually a waiting list and it's on a point basis who gets to live there. (You get points from having good grades, attending events, seniority etc.)
