Hear dz not doing too hot right now and there are some divas that feel overqualified for dz and feel the should be old row and so are not buying in. Sad for them. I blame people likethose on here that obsess on "ranks" and tiers. These immature superficial people make you feel like a loser if you don't gets "selected" into their various haughty cliques. Why I stayed independent.

False. They've only had about five girls drop and it was for financial reasons. They are still way above house total and have had great retention compared to past years actually.

When DZ came to campus 92 years ago there were only 3 other sororities on campus. DZ has been up and down. Maybe down now b/c of some issues that happened in leadership inc alum advising several years ago. That has been fixed. The women of DZ have always been a diverse group. Sisterhood is very tight. If you joined this year you saw the Pref video, which shows sisters throughout the 92 years on campus. DZ is very involved in philanthropy and is the top house for that. Getting grades up is a top priority. We don't stay on this site and promote ourselves like others and if you depend on what this site says, you have serious issues and should drop out. DZ actually lucked out, being one of the last to build. We are going to have a kick a&& house in a great location. Our alumni are very supportive, not in telling us what to do, but in support.
There are 4 or 5 houses constantly on this site bashing long standing houses trying to move themselves up. If you are smart enough to read between the lines you know who that is. Several of those have been on and off campus more than one time. DZ has remained 92 years

Chapters came to Bama in the following order and have their Chapter name included: the # in () is how many NMs each house got this year, since sadly bid lists weren't published publicly this year! Quota was 120 Freshman and 7 Upperclassmen for a total of 127. I included houses who have been here in the past since we're open and it might be interesting to see who possible contenders are!!

Some of the few who came to campus before dz didn't make it at first and left. When DZ came to Campus there were 3 other sororities. KD was one they have been a constant since they came to campus. I am pretty sure ADPi was there in 1922 when DZ came. Other than KD not sure who was there, but when they came there were 3 others on campus and they have been constant since 1922.
