spring teas
by: PNM '16Hi! I'm a current high school senior and I was just accepted to the University of Alabama class of 2020 yesterday. I'm about 99% sure that I'm going here next year and I would like to schedule my Bama Bound orientation around the Spring Teas if possible. Can someone please explain to me how they work? Do you have to be invited to them or do you just show up? Any information would be appreciated! Thank you so much!!

Bama Bound orientation sessions don't even start until May; Spring Teas are in March and by invitation only. The best ways to get an invite to Spring Teas are: know girls in houses who will invite you, have alums mention you to actives, have your recs sent to as many houses as possible by February so actives will be looking for you at Preview Weekend, and have these recs in by February because sometimes that alone will get you a Spring Tea invite. February is too to get recs in. Alumnae can send your name to their house, or you can even e-mail it to them and tell them you'd love to visit.
