This is a decent list, but it is obviously with an old row bias. I know of so many quality pnms that were missed by old row and they landed at ZTA, ADPi and Pi Phi, mostly. The thing is that Alabama connections and high school popularity does not often translate to college and many kids are late bloomers -- and really hit their stride in college. The old row mentality misses those pnms so often because those kids don't have enough girls from their high school scene in the house pulling for them. Maybe they were not the cheer captain, or whatever. Its fine though because all the houses are great. I think, though, that the old row approach is causing them to take a lot of pnms that are not really great members and instead just keep doing what they did in high school -- keeping the clique together so to speakl. It hurts the chemistry of the pledge classes for those houses. Just an opinion. I see it on facebook and insta all the time. These girls from the same high schools all happen to end up in the same houses.

I agree 110% with everything you said. I think most people have been especially impressed with ZTA's, ADPi's and Pi Phi's PCs for the exact reason that you stated- many of their NMs got dropped from Old Row houses only because they didn't have the HS "connections", but still had amazing looks/polished appearances, outstanding personalities, awesome grades, great activities, volunteer work etc, and glowing recs. These girls will really contribute a lot to their organizations, and have a wonderful experience with their sisters. Meanwhile, as you said, Old Row will continue to take girls from the same high schools and try to keep their clique together, but because they overlook so many amazing PNMs, the girls they do get often aren't the most productive or valued members. It's sad, really. College is the time to figure out who you really are, try new things, meet new and different people, and just force yourself out of your comfort zone-and your sisters should be the ones encouraging and supporting you doing these things, not trying to stifle it.
