I got a bid to a sorority I didn't want I was considering dropping me week when my top house dropped me but I stayed because why not give a chance. Will I have a fun college life if I drop Greek life?

Please take a minute to consider the Sorority that wanted you enough to give you a bid. They thought enough of you to invite you to be their sister. And wasn't sisterhood you ultimate goal? If so, then give your new house a chance and embrace your new sisters. :)

The only fact here is you bound to your bid for one year. If you drop today or you drop the day before initiation, you still won't be eligible to pursue membership in another chapter until next fall.

Give it a chance, at least give it through the first home football game and reevaluate then. This chapter saw something in you that makes them think you'll "fit in" with them. And I can't explain it unless you're on the other side but we're usually right.

Speaking as someone who dropped out of rush this year because things didn't go the way I wanted, please don't leave. I completely regret my decision now and would give anything to just be in a house and have new friends. All my friends are on retreats and at pledge parties while I'm sitting here in my dorm. Give it some time before making a decision.... I wish I had that option now.

if you would give anything to just be in a house and have new friends and sisters, why don't you try sdt? They're a national sorority too and their girls are really nice and they do fall cob. they might actually give you a chance.
