If you look back between 10 and 15 years ago (sorry I don't know the exact date), Gamma Phi (a sorority orig started in NY along with AP and AGD) extended bids to two AA girls. It was too early for our campus and backfired on them in a pretty major way. It took them from being a good mid-tier house to the bottom of the heap. While it's great that they're now recovering, it's been a long hard road for them and they should be acknowledged as leaders ahead of their times.
My chapter, which took it's first AA members ever here last year, would like to thank Gamma Phi for leading the way.
