Bump.. If we made it this far to kkg is that a good sign? Why are their reasons for cuts

If a house invited you to skit, they really like you. You look good on paper - right GPA, recs, activities, etc. Houses have already cut for all the basic stuff, with legacies at some houses being the exception (most have cut the legacies they don't want to extend bids to, but some houses will cut more legacies tomorrow).

Who makes if from skit to pref depends purely on votes. All skit pnm's are ranked by the number of votes they get. If you rank below the magic number of girls they're allowed to invite to pref, you get cut. It doesn't mean you did anything wrong or that the girls who met you didn't love you, it means you didn't get enough votes. Period.

So your odds depend on many things- how many girls did you know in these houses prior to rush? Have you been introduced to any chapter officers this week? How influential are the girls who've rushed you this week (you have no way of knowing this, but it's a factor inside the house- influential girls round up the votes for their rush crushes)? You just have to trust the system.

If you've made it to Skit Day at any house, it's s good sign. They see something special in you and want to get to know you better. Just keep in mind that every sorority has to make big cuts again tonight, so if you end up getting cut from your tops, find new tops from the houses that do invite you back tomorrow! Keep an open mind to all groups!!
