Recs always play a big part of recruitment, especially when recruitment is as big as Alabama's. Because the first rounds are so short, you don't get to have a very good conversation. Recs are important because they allow a deeper look at the PMN and her accomplishments. Each sorority has their own way of remembering the PNMs and ranking at the end of each day. Those are private to each sorority--sometimes on par with ritual--so if you get a bid, you will learn your sorority's way when recruitment comes around next year.

Most chapters score between rounds, and only the girls who met you will probably score you -- in my house we might quickly access your rec and application and skim it over before scoring. But recs give you an automatic bump in points, simply for having secured one. This is why you need the for all houses, because you might not make it back to all 6 that you did get.

There's a process. We have your picture that you submitted when you signed up for rush. Each house does it differently, but we have ways of remembering who you are. Especially later in the week.
