new alpha phi video

Have to give them credit for a nice video. I looked at most of the links and they were among the top if not the best one. The PNMS or whoever lives on this page have been a little critical of AOII vid, but I liked it a lot too.
Its soooo hot today for them. Those OOS girls from up north are gonna die.

It's a sad thing when people are so misguided that they think that the only important thing in a woman is looks. Top houses (and even decent middle and bottom houses) don't recruit for looks only. They're just part of the package. A Phi doesn't look at anything else and that's just sad.

But is that really fair? Seriously? When I was there it seemed like they had a lot of pretty girls with very blonde highlights. True, but I also had good substantive friends the were Alpha Phi. They just don't have many girls from top schools and towns in Alabama, so there are some who seemed to not like them much because the frat boys liked them and the houses with all the top Alabama girls were displeased with that and did not "see it" and just then started up talk about the Alpha Phi house being (shall we say) easy.
I have to admit the low grades they have in the house only reinforce the gossip though.

OOS girls -- and that's 2/3 of PNMs -- don't care about Old Row -- and that just kills the old row gals. I mean, sa gorgeous girl from CA or NY could care less about what some old Alabama biddies think is all that. Alpha Phi looks great and that is the truth and to think its only about looks is so wrong. On the rise to top tier.

Grades and traditional swap associations are the main differences between pm, a phi and zeta.. Thing is zeta and a phi have a long way to go to get their rep near pm. They could do it with several strong gpa classes but can they get the grades girls without giving up the looks and fun? That is tough sledding. Whatever gains they have made in last few years have come at expense mostly of houses like dz.

I have to disagree that oos pnms don't care about old row. Those old row houses are good and they play their cards well. Top oos pnms want old row just not as much as Alabama girls. A top oos is more likely to go with her heart to an a phi or zeta but not very often.

but my old row nephew is engaged to an APhi. And she couldn't give a flip that she's not old row. Beautiful put-together girl with a great job in Atlanta. Look, if you aren't going to live in Alabama after graduation you aren't going to care if you are old row or not. And yes, living in Atlanta she has great connections through APhi.

The A Phis look good, but they really do recruit for looks. The result is that they have a bit of a wild girl reputation and the lowest grades of all the sororities. Some girls don't mind that and I'm sure the "beautiful put-together girl with a great job in Atlanta" is an exception, but many of them don't make it to graduation.
Not trying to be disrespectful of any house because any house can have any type of girl, so this is just generalities.

How do you know she is the "exception"? There are girls from ALL houses that don't make it to graduation and/or transfer. Alpha Phi should not be singled out here. Just because they like to have fun in there college years don't make them future unsuccessful women.

Not the case! This is just jealousy about Alpha Phi getting lots of attention. And let's get a reality check here: top houses with 3.5 GPAs aren't exactly Harvard students. Or most state flagships. The fact is OOS girls could care less about what is "best" in Alabama.
