Chi O is no longer on probation but being severely watched by their nationals. Panhellenic said that KD isn't on probation because they aren't on probation with Panhellenic they are on probation with their nationals so while they're in good standing with the school their nationals put them on social probation preventing them from things like swaps and date parties

NEITHER KD or CHIO is on ANY form of probation. they are REQUIRED to tell new members if they are. New members don't ever go in on probation by the sororities nationals either, even if a few actives are on academic probation, the whole new member class wont be. These rumors need to stop and all of these GROWN sorority women need to stop fueling the fire with tent talk. work on your own house and stop bashing each other. A PNM might fall in love with one of these chapters but end up in the wrong home because she was scared away from it. Don't believe everything (or anything) you hear on this stupid site.

In an effort to get quotas, sororities are not required to expose that they are on probation. Personally, I think it is appalling that your Rho Chi is dishonest! When you pledge these sororities and there are no pledge swaps or parties for a whole year ( which happened for the Chi O also last year) I think you should be able to sue your Rho Chi for ruining your freshman year. But what do I know, I'm just a mom who spent money on a boring year for my child...she's transferring because she doesn't want another year of the same.

When you continue to make the same mistakes, there are consequences. It would be nice if rushees and parents are told the truth before they invest four years to a dishonest sorority. Of course, when you have over 30 freshman transfer, that is a clear indication.

You do realize that the snapchat which caused the probation last year took place on PLEDGE day! How was anyone dishonest ahead of time?

Clearly, you have impeccable manners and a lovely tone. I'm sure that you had a great year last year without parties. However, my daughter looked forward to meeting new people including swaps where she could meet guys in fraternities. How sad that she pledged a sorority that is dishonest. We invested a great deal of money. If her Rho Chi out and out lied... That is sad! Have another great year!

KD and Chi O are not on any form of probation... National or Panhellenic wise. But if the fear is what keeps you from going them... Jokes on you when all the pledges are going out and you're sitting there with some joke of sorority that can't even get invited out
