They're not on probation anymore. I'm living with an adpi currently. They were on probation for a bid day incident this past semester. Other sororities this past semester on probation were XO, Pi Phi, Gamma Phi, KD. The only two that will continue probation throughout the fall are KD and XO.

Sometimes a sorority will be put on probation for a really short period of time if for example a few too many girls get sent to the hospital, but I don't remember that happening to gamma phi or pi phi this semester

Gamma Phi or Pi Phi were not on probation this past year. I know because I'm a pi phi and my roommate is a gamma phi.

Pi Phi and Gamma Phi were NOT on probation. Someone is just trying to deflect the criticism for having girls in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. I guess they think if you throw around a lot of lies people won't be able to find the truth.

Also Mallard ball (the event you are referring to) happened in the fall of 2012. THREE YEARS AGO. Not sure what your vendetta against ADPi is but quite frankly its embarrassing and pathetic. Probably a ZTA trying to stir up unnecessary (and might I add false) drama to draw attention away from the fact y'all don't have a house. PNMs, this is a perfect example of why you should steer clear of this site. False information and lies spread EVERYWHERE.

I love how you talk about lies and false information and then blame ZTA for the original post without any evidence whatsoever. Let's review the definition of "embarrassing and pathetic". Oh yeah, let's throw hypocritical in the mix, as well.

I know it's frustrating as a member of any Greek chapter to be cast in a negative light because of another sorority's actions. However, I don't believe continually focusing on another sorority's mistakes makes your house any better. The way to stay strong as a whole is to make sure the sorority makes amends, but also see that we forgive. In the short term, highlighting these things may get you a better pledge class or scare away PNMs, but you just end up hurting Greek life by highlighting the bad. I'm not excusing anyone's actions, I just think we should start to address the problem, try to ensure it doesn't happen again, learn from it, and move forward.

No "report" ever comes out about any sorority on probation. They've been keeping this one a secret for a while. They had a formal where over 12 girls went to the hospital for being too drunk, and also broke a law by crossing the Mississippi state line otw to formal with alcohol in the busses.
Why anyone would ever go to MISSISSIPPI to have a formal is beyond me, what's wrong with Birmingham???
