First off, I suggest you fix your passive aggressive, petulant attitude. That's certainly not going to impress anyone. It's not going to wreck you if you choose to wear Lilly, you'd just be basic sorority girl. If the sorority likes you, they'll take you irregardless of what you're wearing (unless it's a disaster). And you're "pretty sure there's enough designs for everybody" as a high schooler never been through rush? Please. There are thousands and thousands of girls on the row during rush, there will be many many outfit repeats. Lilly just happens to be the most popular so there are the most repeats. Try to look classic, clean, and simple. Not trendy. Not beachy/cruise. Not flashy. Impress us with your attitude, conversational abilities, and grace.

I highly doubt a room full of sorority girls gathered together to mass down vote and up vote on THIS topic in particular. And this post is the only one with such a huge number of votes so it can't be a Greekrank glitch. The pnm found a way to cheat the voting system lol...

Jesus girl, I hope you're not one of my sisters. OP wear whatever you want, whatever best reflects your style. You're right that the goal is to impress us but that doesn't mean to impress us with just clothes. Relax and be yourself! And don't let girls with bad attitudes like this person get you down. If you like Lilly and that's your style then wear it, but if you're only planning on wearing it just because you think that's what you're "supposed" to wear, then I'd reconsider that.

You just blend into the crowd when you have on Lilly. So many girls wear the same dress and unless I know you it just all blends ... you don't stand out especially if you were just so-so.

to be fair the OP was pretty bratty. If she was looking for genuine advice, saying stuff like "what should we wear to impress y'all/don't act like rush isn't about impressing you" just sounds way too combative.
I almost forgot that we used to argue about Lilly. Now, no one touches it with a 10 foot pole and we're debating rompers and off the shoulders.

Not so much during recruitment because you're trying to look pretty conservative, but a nice modest dress during philanthropy or skit might be nice! I've never seen a PNM wear a maxi skirt with her rush t-shirt ever before, so if you can pull that off it might be interesting...
