Kristen is no longer a Phi Mu

This whole thing is stupid. Phi Mu has nothing to do with it. Its just girl drama.

Why is Phi Mu, Sarah Grimes, suing Phi Mu, Kristen Saban, only 10,000, more than 2 years after the fact. The whole thing is bizarre and makes no sense to me.

it's probably only 10,000 because her relatives who weighed in didn't want to harm the program. That's why it's a sorority house that gets sued and not the school. Betcha.

Phi Mu is not named in the lawsuit. Kristen is being sued personally, outside of the Phi Mu organization. Again, makes no sense the amount of the lawsuit.

The lawsuit states that it is above 10,000. It doesn't state that it is $10,000. They stated that to keep the amount private. My guess is that the amount is way above that. No Way that someone could have all that surgery and medical costs and have it be only 10,000. Have you seen what medical bills cost lately? Most likey in the hundred thousand range or more...plus might get more money for mental anguish!! Trust me the lawsuit is not going to be for a mere $10,000. No Way!

It's common to wait until near the end of the statue of limitations in a case like this so that the defendant has a better idea of how much money they can get out of it. If you sue right off the bat and your medical bills end up costing way more, you're out of luck.

time that I've ever looked at the sorority side of this website and it cracks me up that 5 of the top 6 houses are below bad.

She will have as good a chance as anyone especially if she has a Great GPA and Personality. She sounds wonderful and will find the sorority that is a perfect fit for her. Having a Positive Attitude is important. : )
