How hard is it to get a bid from Phi Mu? I heard Phi Mu's a VERY hard sorority to get into at the southern schools.

if you're going through rush here you shouldn't be concerned with how hard it is to get a bid from a particular house just know it's hard at all houses

"gpas will be accepted!!"--and stop giving them false hope and speaking for sororities you aren't a member of. I never once said she will not receive invites or a bid, but chances are unlikely and she SHOULD expect quite a few cuts on the first 2 days.

That's being realistic, especially because she avoided telling us what her GPA was. For all we know, low to her might be 2.5

what does race have to do with anything? Why must you murky up our already not so positive reputations as far as race relations?

Just stop. Honestly, have fun at rush whoever you and as mentioned before, it's all said and done. We can't predict who will or will not invite you back. It's not fair of any of us to say XYZ will give you a bid because it's not 100% true. There is a large portion of girls who do not receive bids or drop.

Just have fun and don't worry about having to be in a particular house. And don't take cuts personal either

I said I was just curious, NOT concerned. There's a difference. At least I never said that I 100% wanted a bid from Phi Mu though I have nothing against them. No need to be rude about it, at least "uh". My lord.

Just have fun with with though. If you come mentally prepared, you're ahead of the game cause alot of girls freak themselves out.

Grades are through, I'm sure you've sent recs ;) so all you need to do is have a fun summer and come ready for recruitment. You mentioned Phi Mu but I just went through and saw what I think is your comment and Phi Mu IS traditionally a very successful sorority, but we're all great here ;)

No one gives a rip about your so-called famous alums??? EVERY sorority & fraternity can list numerous famous alums. Most of these organizations have been around since the late 1800's & have well over 100 chapters. Theta DOES NOT have the monopoly on famous alumni. And bragging about the founder of Betty Crocker or the Walt Disney twins is laughable!! No one cares! Get a life!
