how do srats "steal" from each other?

by: just wondering

i don't go to bama or a sec school, i'm just curious when i see a lot of people say "x house lost a lot of girls to z house" what does that really mean? losing? are some girls more pretentious and "wanted" by multiple houses? from my understanding certain houses want girls from specific area codes or high schools, is that correct?

You don't seem to know what 'pretentious' means so maybe straighten that out for yourself.
Also you probably mean zip codes and not area code. There is a difference, surely you know that, unless you're an AI BOT...

Every sorority has certain girls they really want, for various reasons, and they 'compete' to get these pnm's from other houses that recruit similarly and want some of the same pnm's. It comes down to how the pnm makes her final choice at pref; one sorority will get her and the other will lose her. It's not that deep.

The only reason sororities want girls from certain areas or schools is because they have members who come from that place or went to that school so they already know, or know of, certain girls. Of course they want girls they already know. Connections matter in recruitment.

This happens in every recruitment at every school, every year. It's just part of recruitment. NBD
