Morgan, Bama Rush’s Biggest Call to Action for Change

There is a reason why hundreds of thousands of people rallied behind a single girl with thunderous enthusiasm. From fellow PNMs to non-Greek Gen Xers who have never posted on Tik Tok but were glued to every morning to see that this one girl made it another day.

With the haze of rush so daunting I guess it isn’t obvious to you like it is to us. Morgan is the most special because Morgan is relatable, normal, kind and natural. For everyone of us who went through the factory that created molds that could easily be seen as a certain Greek letter organization only to find the hard truth that no one can hide who they are despite whatever filter or presentation we want the public to see, we wish that we would have had more Morgan’s around us.

It amazes me that the most popular and adored rushee didn’t find a place in any of your houses. Well, at least Morgan found people who love her for who she is and I pray she turns this setback into her greatest comeback, and I pray you all learn how to be more like Morgan. One day you will understand what that means.

40 year old Moms loved her. Women who were never in sororities loved her. Bama Sorority girls….not so much. Go figure.

Also, hundreds of girls get dropped. Hundreds of girls that look like her are in sororities. So maybe it was a bit more than her looks as the 40 year old Moms are claiming.

The teen vogue article published Morgan’s last name. It’s very easy to see public socials of Morgan and her mother, who has college attendance listed in her bio, discussing rush recs months and months ago. Either Morgan is so generally oblivious that she’s a liability for both sorority and university retention, or it’s casually calculated manipulation of parasocial TikTok relationships.
