The real top houses are the houses able to cut the most girls going into philanthropy. People who actually understand RFM and recruitment know this.
These houses are the old row houses. That’s just the truth and anyone who disagrees does not understand or doesn’t go here.

I agree, rankings should really be the same as return rates. Just curious… if a house has a 98% return rate, would that be really high or do some other houses have 99-100%? That probably sounds like a dumb question but I have no idea what the spread is like on return rates.

Any house with a return rate over 97 percent would imo be considered a top house. For those not following, the higher the return percentage the more choosing (cutting) a house gets the power to do

So you are right about that but you have to add Zeta to that list even though I know you don’t want to! I spent a lot of time on Panhellenic and I completely understand RFM .I saw the numbers and Zeta is one of those houses that makes huge cuts just like the OR chapters.you can’t only share half the facts to fit your narrative! Also, while we’re at it, ADII and Pi PHI are right behind this group. I honestly wish Panhellenic would release these figures like they do great reports and everything else.

This makes more sense for telling the whole story. PNMs aren't just picking 7 sororities first round. Can't convince me that ZTA, PiPhi, and ADPi are usual first round cuts for PNMs.

Another question if anyone out there actually knows this stuff… if a mid tier house avoids including girls in their first round list who they know will be top PNM’s for the top 3-5 houses we always see in these ranks, then would that help them have a higher return rate? Basically they know these girls will go to one of those houses and they don’t want it in their numbers to include them from the beginning.

What is meant by “return rates” is the percent of PNM’s who put these chapters in their number 1 spot. For example 95% put Ozma Kappa as a #1 so in return they have to cut 1900 of the 2500 hundred girls going through. The 6 mentioned if the original post plus Zeta will only be inviting about 1/4 of the PNM’s back to philanthropy. Honestly I would say that’s the same for ADII and pi phi as well.

Correct. It's about the pnm's rankings of a house from round to round, whether that house has them on their invitation list or not.
