APhi is literally top at most universities in the country. If you are joining a sorority for 'connections' then you should honestly go aphi, kappa, theta as these are the top srats nationally.

Literally no one will ever care what house you are in when you graduate unless you are some old lady who goes to their national convention every year.
You can tell everyone you were a whatever at Bama, but the top houses elsewhere in the country know where their houses suck.

Lots of sororities are tops nationally for various reasons. One isn’t necessarily “better” than the other- just different. Who cares that Karen in Texas thinks Pi Phi is #1 nationally if you meet them during recruitment and you just don’t mesh with them? Go somewhere you feel comfortable. The End.
